Langdale Pikes and Loughrigg Tarn – Allan Hartley

The AAC(UK) office is now taking bookings for the 2018 AGM Activity Weekend. This special AGM, celebrating the 70th Anniversary of Sektion Britannia, is being held at The Hydro Hotel, Bowness-on-Windermere from the 5th-7th October.

The AAC(UK) is offering a range of led activities and training opportunities on both the Saturday and Sunday including a 16 hour first aid course, fell running, GPS navigation, Rock Climbing, Scrambling, Ecology Walk, Navigation, and Kayaking & Paddle boarding. 

Other activities include a range of day walks on both Saturday and Sunday, and a presentation of the 2017 Photo and Sketch Competition.  On Friday evening, there will be a lecture on Arjuna (West Face), Kishtwar Himal (India) expedition, and a photo presentation on Saturday night on 2017 expedition to Pakistan, both of which were supported by the AAC(UK) Expedition Fund.

Courses/ activities marked ## are now fully booked but enquire about possible vacancies or reserve list.

There will also be a club meet after the AGM Activity Weekend in Patterdale from 7-12 October

The office team have designed AAC(UK) 70th Anniversary headscarf, which is £10.00 and shown on the merchandise page of the website.
