July 18 – 25: Sexten Dolomites, Italy
A circular hut to hut tour through some of the Dolomites most spectacular scenery. The tour starts near the town of Sexten (Sesto) then progresses south to the scenically stunning towers of Drei Zinnen where several nights are spent to explore the area. The route then turns east to the mountains of the Zwolfer Kofel, and eventually north to close the loop.
Participants undertaking the tour will need to carry their own personal climbing gear of helmet, climbing harness, Via Ferrata lanyard set and share carrying various pieces of group gear. Anyone with reasonable fitness should be able to undertake the tour. Most days are around four hour’s duration, with one longish day of six hours.

July 15 – 20: Rätikon Odyssey, Austria-Switzerland
This six day hut to hut tour along the Austrian-Swiss border will traverse the limestone mountains of the Rätikon range. The territory through which the tour will travel, includes fertile mountainside and high alpine meadows with wild flowers. The higher stretches will be rocky and largely barren, showing off a wide variety of geological and geomorphological features. The route provides changing views of stunningly beautiful mountain scenery. The major peaks in the range include the Sulzfluh and the Schesaplana. An ascent of the Sulzfluh (2818m) is an option, weather permitting.
Overnights stops include the Douglas Hütte, Lindauer Hütte and the Tilisuna Hütte, with a final stay in the village of Gargellen.
